Meet Robin, IMPACT Quality Professional QP

What IMPACT has meant to me…

Three years ago, I was looking for a good part-time job to fill my days while my son went to preschool.

I was browsing INDEED and came across a job opening at IMPACT (then Milling Manor). It was a company that I had never heard of, but it was in my hometown and just a few minutes from my home.

IMPACT required skills that I had with my experience in assisted living facilities and as a med tech, so I applied. After talking with Julie I knew I really wanted this job. When I got it, I was overjoyed.

I loved working in the community with clients, and later in the group home as a DSP, and a house manager.

This was only the beginning! I realized that what I really wanted was to become qualified as a QP (Quality Professional) with IMPACT. I ended up talking with a family member who encouraged me to do this, so to make a long story short, I did.

I am soon to graduate with my associate degree in human services from Davidson-Davie Community College.

“I’ve been able to do my internship hours here at IMPACT, learning more about the QP position. IMPACT is an amazing company to work for and the clients make each day a pleasure.

I love what I’m doing, and look forward to coming to work every day!”
