IMPACT of the Piedmont provides caring homes and programs that help adults with developmental, intellectual, and mental health challenges live with independence, dignity, and joy.
The Need
Hundreds of adults with neuro-diverse challenges in Davie County and beyond need an active and engaged community of care that facilitates natural relationships and mutual respect for one another.
Our individualized services help each person have the opportunity to succeed in what is meaningful to them.
Our commitment is to surround each individual — both residents and independent living individuals — with respect, care and support.
We envision a shared sense of responsibility with the community, our donors and relevant service agencies who can work collectively to promote “a best life” for people living with disabilities.
Services We Provide

IMPACT of the Piedmont (IMPACT) provides 24 hours a day, 365 days a year service to individuals who reside in our group homes in Davie and Yadkin Counties.

IMPACT provides just the right amount of support for someone to thrive independently!

IMPACT can help you access the community! We can provide support for successful relationship building, volunteering, paid work, classwork or any aspect of discovering what gives your life purpose and meaning!

Support to meet the needs of individuals who require ongoing supervision, assistance to access the community, and/or personal care while primary care givers work or have a break.
